Natures Living Treasure with a Beautiful Sunset
Oido (Island)
Oido is an island located in the south-west seaside of Siheung City. Being a tourist destination offering various fish and shells, it is an important historic site designated as National Historic Remains No. 441 where the new stone age and other ancient historic relics have been excavated. This island was called Ojili-do or Ojilae-do. It has been chosen as one of the nine most noted sceneries in Siheung as you can enjoy sea scent at full tide as it faces the sea on three sides, you can also watch sea animals at low ebb, and view a beautiful sunset in the evening.
Furthermore, you can enjoy more diverse food and entertainment as the city’s plan for developing a model food culture arcade which was selected in a competition hosted by Gyeonggi-do provincial government, 2005 |
